Travelers with layovers at Cairo International Airport (CAI) can easily access several historical sites and museums. Notable attractions include the terminal museums located in Terminals 2 and 3, the Pharaonic Village, and the nearby City of the Dead (Qarafa). For those with longer layovers, the Giza Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and Khan Al Khalili market are highly recommended for their rich historical significance and are conveniently reachable within a short travel time.
